.

After traveling to Liberia countless times to visit family and friends and to volunteer, Ms. Moluwoi has seen first hand healthcare disparities in Liberia. she has decided to start a non-profit to lessen the gap.

Liberia was one of the leading countries in Africa for education and healthcare prior to the civil war in 1990. Built on the backs of free-slaves that settled along the Congo River, Liberia was called “America in Africa.” Therefore, with the model and ideas of Teach One International, Inc in partnership with Liberians Deserve Better and Marshall Institute, establishing an American hospital in Liberia will help to restore Liberia back to its “glory days” with good healthcare and educational systems.

With a population of only 4.9m (WHO, 2024) and one of the worse healthcare systems in the world, Liberia has no hospitals that can treat a patient successful with a common cold let alone a patient with a stroke or heart attack. Let’s all come together to help Liberia and later countries like Liberia increase the life expectancies of its citizens.
